Beach Cities Toy Drive
The annual Beach Cities Toy Drive is a joint holiday tradition hosted by Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach to collect new, unwrapped toys for children in need across Los Angeles County. Donations benefit local charities like the Salvation Army, Richstone Family Center, and the 1736 Family Crisis Center.

We Donated Five Old Police Cars To Her City
In June 2023, the City of Manhattan Beach donated five decommissioned police vehicles (four cruisers and one SUV) to the Town of Pickens, Mississippi, for $1 each. The donation solved a severe shortage where Pickens' six officers were previously sharing a single patrol car.
